Find Your Perfect Fit: Sizing & Customization

At Silver Lining Jewelry, we believe a ring should feel like a second skin—intentional, comfortable, and secure. Because many of our rings are Made to Order specifically for you, we want to ensure you find your perfect fit before we begin the forging process in our Lexington studio.

How to Measure at Home

If you don't know your size, you can determine it accurately using these two professional methods:

The Measurement Method

Wrap a piece of non-stretching string or a thin strip of paper
around the base of the finger you intend to wear the ring on.

Mark the point where the ends meet.

Measure the string or paper against a ruler in millimeters (mm) to find the circumference.

Use our chart below to find your size.

The "Favorite Ring" Method
If you have a ring that already fits perfectly, measure the internal diameter (the distance across the inside of the ring) in millimeters.

International Ring Size Conversion

Our collections follow Standard US Sizing.

Pro-Tips for Accuracy

Temperature Matters
Fingers tend to shrink in the cold and swell in the heat.
Measure your finger at the end of the day when they are likely at their largest.

The Knuckle Factor
If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger,
measure both and choose a size in between so the ring can slide over the joint but won't fall off.

Band Width
Wider bands (like our Garnet-Hue Artisan Band) feel tighter than thin stackable bands.
If you are ordering a wide design, we recommend sizing up by a half-size.
